At the top of Lycabettus is the church of Agios Georgios (St. George.) A stunning whitewashed church, which dates back to 1870.

The temple is built at the same place the temple of Zeus Extreme was in ancient times. When the first temple was ruined, the new temple of basilica style was built on the same foundation.

Near the small church, operate a restaurant and a cafeteria. It is worth having lunch or a drink to enjoy the magnificent view at night. While walking through the grove of trees, you will find the small church of Agion Isidoron (Saints Isidores) also constructed 150 years ago.
